CAT GALLERY - UPDATE HERE
MAMA AND TUBBY
SEE SEPARATE PICTURE OF TUBBY BUT THE WRITE-UP COVERS BOTH OF THEM BECAUSE THEY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.
Mama and Tubby are mother and son and must be adopted together. Mama is a medium haired very dark brown tabby with an estimated birthdate of 1/15/17. Tubby is also a medium haired dark brown tabby with an estimated birthdate of 8/1/17. Both have wonderful big fluffy tails. They are extremely bonded and rely on each other. Mama is more shy but they are now out and about quite a lot - especially when it is time for wet food. They sometimes snuggle together in the bottom of cat trees but also hang out separately. Mama was an outside cat but she had Tubby and two other kittens inside a home and the other two kittens have been adopted together. They do let us pet them and Tubby loves tummy rubs. These are beautiful cats that need a new home where they can feel safe and loved but you must have a lot of patience (especially with Mama) which will eventually be rewarded by them being loving and friendly kitties.
MAMA AND TUBBY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. SEE WRITE-UP UNDER MAMA.
Joe is a very handsome black and white long haired male. He loves being brushed. His estimated birthdate is 1/1/15. He was previously owned by someone who rehomed him and his second owner apparently abandoned him to the streets and he was rescued by someone who could not keep him. He is good with people and loves to be petted but now that he’s in StreetCats (came in 8/15/18) he doesn’t care for other cats. We don’t know if he’s been around children or dogs. He does need to be the only cat in a home.
Marble is a long haired tortie who loves to swish her tail around. Her estimated birthdate is 7/14/17 and she’s very curious and outgoing. She is sweet and friendly but her former foster mom does not think she’d do well with very young children. She purrs a lot and loves wet food. She was fostered with other cats and was OK with them after having time to getting used to them. She came into StreetCats on 9/18/18.
Junior came into StreetCats 9/19/18. He is red tabby with golden eyes and his estimated birth date is 1/7/17. He came from a home that had older cats and they didn’t want to play with him so he’d love a home with a younger cat. After adjusting he’ll be playful and snuggly per his former family. Junior is out and about and looking for a playmate in StreetCats but he hasn’t found one since Penny was adopted although Marble is giving it some thought.
Juliana is a long haired front declawed calico van with an estimated birthdate of 12/6/2006. She originally came to StreetCats May 2014 and was adopted July 2014. She was returned to us on 9/4/18 because her former owners could no longer care of her. Upon her return she was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism which had increased her metabolism, but she had lost 7 lbs. since being adopted and weighed less than 7 lbs. Her former owners never took her to a vet so she was never diagnosed before being returned. She will be taking methimazole ear gel for the rest of her life, is gaining weight back, and is doing better now that she’s being treated. She loves being petted and purrs and purrs and purrs and is a love.
Kitina is a tortie with an estimated birthdate of 5/20/15. She is a very sweet female and she gets along with all of the other cats. She and Junior sometimes play together and she would be great as the only pet in a home or with another kitty as a playmate. It’s a shame people sometimes overlook her because she would be a purrfect companion in anyone’s home.
Tigger is a red and white male tabby with an estimated birthdate of 7/20/13. He was originally adopted 4/14/14 so he grew up in that home. He was returned to us on 11/29/18 because a doctor told the family no more pets due to breathing issues and they couldn’t find another loving home for him. It has been very hard on him to suddenly leave his forever home and live with numerous other kitties but he’s making progress because he loves for us to pet him. He’s a sweet boy and apparently has lived with or at least played happily with another cat. He is still skittish and shy in StreetCats but he’d be happy in another home of his own. He hasn’t been around dogs and we don’t think he would enjoy sharing him home with a dog. He will be a special loving addition to your home.
