CAT GALLERY - UPDATE HERE
Baby is a small black female weighing less than 7 lbs. and her estimated birthdate is 9/25/13. She came into StreetCats with Chase who she has lived with for four years but they are not bonded in StreetCats. Her elderly owner died and the owner’s cousin took both cats but was unable to keep them. She has IBS and is on soft chews and Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Fiber Response dry food which works well for her. She is sweet once she gets over her shyness, loves to be brushed and loves to be petted. Chasing a laser light is a favorite pastime. She has not been with children or dogs.
Annie is a brown patch tabby with white. She’s a sweetheart with an estimated birthdate of 10/31/16. She’s not thrilled with other cats in StreetCats so she hides from them but she loves humans and will want you to spend time with her, likes to cuddle, enjoys playing, and is happy to tell you all about the night before when greeted each morning. She was in a home for about two years but returned to us on 1/25/19 even though they loved her but it wasn’t working out in their current situation.
Heidi is a small brown patch tabby with white with an estimated birthdate of 10/10/13. She is adorable and after being in StreetCats a couple of weeks she is out and about more. We believe she is a sister to Belle and came from a growing family with too many pets. Her intake info says she does get along with dogs after an adjustment period and she is easy going, friendly, and sweet.
Calibus came into StreetCats 3/11/19 so we are still learning about him. He is a brown tabby with white and medium to long fur. We believe he is the brother of Cleo with an estimated birthdate of 5/1/16. The lady who rescued these kitties said Calibus should be an only cat, however, he has occasionally shared the little house he is hanging out in with Cleo as well as other new kitties in StreetCats without any problems. He does love to be petted in his safe place and he’s still adjusting to StreetCats and all the new cats we have (he was in a home with other foster cats but she had to give some up). He should be a love once he adjusts and a quiet laidback kitty.
Ziggy is a red and white tabby male with an estimated birthday of 3/1/16. He is a joy and a happy kitty who is very active, loving, and friendly. He’d be great with another kitty that could be his playmate. He is laidback when it comes to other cats and if they hiss at him he will walk away, but he’s looking for a friend. He was taken in briefly by a StreetCats volunteer when someone she knew went into hospice and then passed on. He has only been an indoors cat and you can tell he was well loved. He is happy being held and he’ll also be a lap cat.
Belle is a sleek black female and we believe she is a sister to Heidi. Her estimated birthdate is 10/10/13. Both cats were in a home with a growing family and too many pets. She is shy and it may take her a while to adjust to her new environment but she is very happy to have you pet her while she is hanging out and watching what is going on. She was used to snuggling with her mom and her sisters so this is a big change for her. She and Heidi did come in to StreetCats a couple of weeks apart and they haven’t spent any time together. She’s starting to come out some now and she has shorter legs (but she’s not a munchkin) and she is gorgeous.
Logan is an all black male with an estimated birthdate of 2/1/16. He is very sweet and he’s spent his entire life with a lady who can no longer care for him due to her health concerns. He is a lap cat and can be held and snuggled with. He is not used to being around other cats but he’s adjusting.
Boots is a striking brown tabby male with an estimated birthdate of 11/30/17. He originally was a stray in someone’s neighborhood, then he went to the Broken Arrow Shelter, and then the people adopted him from the shelter and brought him to their house. They have older cats and unfortunately, it was not a good fit for a younger more active cat who wanted to play. He came into StreetCats on 4/17/19 and he has gotten along great with our kitties. He has been very sweet, loves to be petted, and loves tummy rubs. He’s still a little shy but he seems to be getting along with the other cats and he’s now hanging out in one of our rooms with more shy kitties just waiting for human attention.
