CAT GALLERY - UPDATE HERE
Mary is a very striking black and white tuxedo with an estimated birthdate of 12/3/08. She’s been in a single home since being rescued as a kitten but her owner married someone with an overly aggressive dog and they feared he would hurt Mary. Her former owner says she is sweet and loving and has gotten along with some dogs in the past. She also likes to play and be petted but does not always like to be held.
Sensi is a small tortoiseshell female with an estimated birthdate of 8/14/14. She is cuddly, sweet, and playful and will definitely be a lap kitty. She hasn’t been around children but she’s very good with adults. She previously lived with another cat that was adopted out before Sensi came into StreetCats. She probably would not do well with dogs. She was rescued by a woman who loved her and hated to give her up but her son was allergic to her.
Mama is looking up from a chair in this picture - she found a new purrfect place for napping! Mama is a brown tabby female with an estimated birthdate of 2/1/14. She came into the StreetCats Adoption Center the week of February 20, 2017. Initially she was rescued from a hoarder by a wonderful woman but then she also had too many cats when she had to move to a new home. Mama is used to living with other kitties but not with dogs. Mama is sweet and very loving and she’d love to play with you and some toys.
Penelope (now called Penny) is a larger size Siamese Seal, Cream, and White DLH Siamese mix. She’s been in foster care with a StreetCats volunteer since October 2016 but the volunteer is moving back to England and cannot take her so she is now in the adoption center. Penny is definitely a cuddler but not a lap cat. She loves to sit right next to you and she’ll sleep with you at night. She’d also love to have you comb her every day to keep her beautiful fur looking absolutely gorgeous. She does require a very clean litter box at all times and the litter box should NOT have a cover on it. Ideally she should be the only pet in the house because she wants all your attention. She absolutely cannot be around dogs and she would not be good with children.
Peanut is a very handsome red tabby male with an estimated birthdate of 4/12/15. He is front declawed and he’s not very happy being around all the other kitties at StreetCats, however, he has lived with other cats. He is very sweet and affectionate and loves to play. He does not like to be confined in a cage or a carrier.
Floyd is as very handsome grey and white long haired male tabby whose estimated birthdate is 7/1/15. He came into StreetCats with Chris but they do not need to be adopted together. Floyd is loving and playful but he also likes to hide some and appears to be somewhat shy. He has been OK with other cats and he’d possibly be OK with small dogs.
Chris is a gorgeous and very sweet male blue point tabby with longer fur. He tries to get along with all the other kitties in StreetCats and if one hisses at him he just turns away. His estimated birthdate is 8/21/16 and he is on the smaller size and doesn’t mind if you pick him up. He is active and playful and previously he did well with small dogs and other cats. Chris came into StreetCats with Floyd but they do not need to be adopted together.
