MO (MODELO)

MO (MODELO)

Mo is a long and lean black male cat whose birthday is 12/11/2024.  He is very handsome and we’ll have a better picture of him soon.  He loves to be petted but he’s confused right now because he grew up in just one home (rescued when he weighed one pound) and now he’s in StreetCats.  The lady who rescued him did not want to give him up but she has a 5 year old dog that was very nervous around Mo and she just couldn’t make it work.  Mo loved both dogs in the house but he hasn’t been around cats.  His former mom says he is outgoing, playful, loves cuddles and loves to play with springs and balls.

MAX

MAX

Max got a haircut and looks adorable. Unfortunately he is very grouchy these days even though he feels 100% better since all his icky fur is gone and he got an antibiotic injection - he does have a pom on his tail and pantaloons on his legs. Max is a blue point Himalayan senior cat with an estimated birthdate of 4/29/2011.  He currently weighs 14.58 lbs.  He was adopted from StreetCats in 2013 but his elderly owner has now died and he was returned to StreetCats.  He has only lived with an older woman and has never been around other cats, children, or dogs.  When he came in he had an eye infection so he has been treated for that and now both eyes look great.  He does jump up and down on things in StreetCats so he is active, but he also enjoys long naps.

BOBA FETT

BOBA FETT

Boba Fett (name from Star Wars) is a blue tabby with white and is front declawed.  His birth date is estimated for 1/1/2016 and he weighs about 13 lbs.  He was adopted in 2017 and was very bonded to his mom.  She died unexpectedly in 2025 and he was returned to us on 6/7/2025 by a friend (StreetCats always takes back cats adopted from us when necessary.)  Boba has been doing a lot of adjusting since he came into StreetCats.  Initially he was afraid of everything and everyone but that is changing and he now enjoys being petted and having his head and neck scratched.  He’s also learning about being a lap cat (he probably was this with his original owner).  He is craving the love he had from his initial adopter, and even though there will be a period of adjustment for him, when you let him show you want he wants, he will be a wonderful companion for you.  He should be an only cat so he can have all the attention.

ZOE

ZOE

Zoe is a smaller size Silver Tabby, estimated birthdate is 5/14/2014 and she lost her home because her owner has cancer and can no longer care for her (it’s not allowed by the doctor).  She is a very sweet girl so losing her mom and being returned to StreetCats is hard but she’s slowly coming out of the little house she is in.  She does have hyperthyroid disease so she gets ½ of a small methimazole pill by mouth morning and night but she’s used to getting it.  She has not lived around other cats, children, or dogs but her mom loved her very much so she needs a new loving home.

PEACHES

PEACHES

She’s our house cat.

She is very sweet and friendly, but other cats seem to make her nervous.  She prefers Purina EN dry food and likes creamy seafood wet food.  Adopted 8/2021 and returned 9/2022 due to peeing outside of litter box but she wasn’t on medicine consistently.  Owner loved her but decided to return her.  She uses a “regular” litter box that has clay litter in it, but she occasionally will pee on a puppy pad.  She is on Fluoxetine to reduce stress and hopefully keep her from peeing in places other than the litter box.  Fluoxetine is a gel that goes on the hairless area of an ear flap – switch ear flaps daily.  This medication is in a transdermal gel applicator and is easy to give.  The cost of this medicine is $75.34 for three pens on an auto ship for every 12 weeks.  This medicine does have to be set up by her vet and Feline Specialties does this for her now.  She would love to have a home of her own as the only pet in the home.

Max is a blue point Himalayan senior cat with an estimated birthdate of 4/29/2011.  He currently weighs 14.58 lbs.  He was adopted from StreetCats in 2013 but his elderly owner could no longer take care of him so he was returned to StreetCats.  He has only lived with an older woman and has never been around cats, children, or dogs.  When he came in he had an eye infection so he has been treated for that and now both eyes look great.  He is currently getting an eye drop twice a day in his left eye, but we will be stopping that soon.  He does jump up and down on things in StreetCats so he is active, but he also enjoys long naps.  He doesn’t particularly like being groomed, but he does need to be combed regularly with his longer fur, however, he might growl while you do that – doesn’t strike out, just wants to get away from you.

ABBY

ABBY

Abby is a Brown Patch Tabby with an estimated birthdate of 6/2/2024.  In June she was rescued from inside a box with a rock on the lid along with her two kittens and she’s been fostered by a StreetCats volunteer since that time.  She is very sweet and loves to be petted and brushed.  We think she’s afraid of dogs and she hasn’t been around other cats while in foster care.  (Her kittens are still in foster care.)  She loves to lay on cat trees in the sun to watch birds & squirrels, and she loves fluffy beds & blankets.  She came into StreetCats on 8/28/25 so she’s still adjusting to another new situation.

CALLIE

CALLIE

New picture coming soon

Callie is a black female who has lost her former home (she was originally adopted in 2019).  Her estimated birthdate is 1/1/2016.  She is very sweet, active, and is craving attention because she was home alone when her family was in the hospital.  Unfortunately no one was aware that she had been badly infested with fleas and was therefore pulling out a lot of her beautiful black fur.  She has now been treated by Feline Specialties and she will be healing and getting her fur back going forward but she’d love a new home to help her recover.  She’s always been an inside cat and has not been around other cats or dogs.  She will be a playful and friendly companion.
