CAT GALLERY - UPDATE HERE
Tia (pronounced Tie Ah) is a striking front declawed darker colored calico female. Her estimated birthdate is 12/12/12. She was originally in a home but her mom died and then she was in a home with a man who used a power chair (and this didn’t both her) but he had to go into a nursing home without her. She can be shy at first but once she warms up she’s lovable and is a lap kitty and she’s out and about in StreetCats and is very friendly. She came into StreetCats on 4/10/18 and she loves to look out windows. She might prefer to be the only cat in her forever home but she doesn’t seem to have issues with other cats in StreetCats.
Julie is a darling smaller blue tabby with white and her estimated birthdate is 7/11/17. She was rescued from the streets on 4/12/18. She has been spayed and is spending time in a hidey hole watching all the other kitties. She isn’t fond of other cats but she loves to be petted and when you hold her she’ll snuggle into your arms.
Daisy is a larger size black and white front declawed female with an estimated birthdate of 5/11/11. She was adopted as a kitten on 12/16/11 but was returned to StreetCats in April 2018 when her mom passed away. She is now out and about, loves to spend time around people and to be petted. She isn’t overly fond of other cats, especially a male we have in StreetCats. She’d probably be great with a single person since that is what she is used to.
Monkey is a smaller size tortie female who might be a little shy at first. Her estimated birthdate is 4/13/16. She was rescued by a couple who had a dog door so she was both an inside and outside cat. She isn’t fond of the other cats in StreetCats yet probably because she had to defend herself when she was outside, however, she has lived with other cats and dogs. Her human mom died in early April 2018 and her dad couldn’t continue to take care of her so she came to StreetCats on 4/18/18. She is really laidback and sweet on her own and she’d been well taken care by her human parents.
Peggy is a small front declawed brown tabby with an estimated birthdate of 4/30/17. She came into StreetCats with Jazz because a former StreetCats volunteer is going into the Air Force and they needed new homes. She is a super sweetheart and enjoys being around people and has no problems with other cats. She has not been around dogs. She does like to hide out occasionally to take a nap but she’s a love.
MAMA AND TUBBY
SEE SEPARATE PICTURE OF TUBBY BUT THE WRITE-UP COVERS BOTH OF THEM BECAUSE THEY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.
Mama and Tubby are mother and son and must be adopted together. Mama is a medium haired very dark brown tabby with an estimated birthdate of 1/15/17. Tubby is a longer haired dark brown tabby with an estimated birthdate of 8/1/17. They are extremely bonded, shy, nervous and rely on each other. They spend a lot of time snuggled together in a hidey hole at the bottom of a cat tree but they also come out – Tubby more than mom. Mama was an outside cat but she had Tubby and two other kittens inside a home and the other two kittens have been adopted together. They do let us pet them and Tubby loves tummy rubs. These are beautiful cats that need a new home where they can feel safe and loved but you must have a lot of patience (especially with Mama) which will eventually be rewarded by them being loving and friendly kitties.
MAMA AND TUBBY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER. SEE WRITE-UP UNDER MAMA.
(Sweety) Pete is a white and blue short haired male with an estimated birthdate of 8/15/15. He loves people and wants a home where people will play with him or he has a playmate to keep him active during the day so he will sleep more at night. He was adopted briefly but his new dad wasn’t there to give him the attention and play time Pete wanted. He said, however, that Pete was a great cat, very friendly, and always used his litter box without any problems.
